FOX News Officially Severs Ties With Bill O’Reilly

Time's 100 Most Influential People in the World - Red Carpet Arrivals

FOX News has parted ways with Bill O’Reilly in light of multiple allegations of sexual impropriety leveled against the top-rated O’Reilly Factor host. “After a thorough and careful review of allegations against him, the Company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Mr. O’Reilly will not return to the Fox News Channel,” read a statement from 21st Century Fox Executive Chairman Rupert Murdoch and his sons, Lachlan and James.

Tucker Carlson will reportedly move into O’Reilly’s 8 p.m. time slot. Earlier this week, it was revealed that O’Reilly allegedly harassed a black woman who had a desk near his office by calling her “hot chocolate.” “He would never talk to her, not even hello, except to grunt at her like a wild boar,” attorney Lisa Bloom told The Hollywood Reporter. “He would leer at her. He would always do this when no one else was around and she was scared.”
